Dallas firefighter discharged from hospital after severe burns from apartment explosion

DALLAS — Dallas Fire-Rescue says one of three firefighters critically injured from an apartment explosion on Sept. 29 was discharged from the hospital Friday.

Officer Pauline Perez joined Dallas Fire-Rescue in July 2019. On the day of the explosion, she suffered severe burns. Perez spent more than two weeks at Parkland Memorial Hospital's burn unit.
